 My Eco Wash Manager – Job Description:

Primary Purpose Of Position: 

  • This position is responsible for the management of and ultimate responsibility for ensuring that Customer Service is always Priority #1.

  • This is accomplished by developing and maintaining a team of people who provide inside and outside wash services to guests in a secure, accurate, fast, and friendly environment for My Eco Wash Operations. 

 Essential Functions

  • Provides customer service that exceeds expectations.

  • Provides the best customer experience by training team on all internal and external programs, building customer base through return Customers – My Eco Wash Unlimited Club.

  • Ensures that all guests are treated courteously and that the needs of the customer are addressed efficiently

    • Ensure all vehicles in the detail center are compliant for quality and accuracy.

    • Interact with guests every day.

    • Handle guest inquiries, complaints and compliments.

    • Ensure that attendants smile and are friendly to all guests when delivering guide-on instructions.

    • Increase the speed and convenience of the whole wash experience for the guest.

  • Decrease errors in vehicle cleaning and damage claims.

    • Conduct safety checks of every vehicle entering the wash to either prevent entry or warn guests of potential risks

  • Implements company policies, procedures, and objectives.

  • Provides leadership and direction to employees to maximize profits and sales and to control expenses.

  • Maintain budgeted standards for chemicals, utilities, equipment repair and replacement

    • Monitor and control labor percentage by hour.

    • Monitor and control chemical output daily (marking barrels) and troubleshooting (rate of flow).

  • Provides leadership and direction to ensure we exceed customer expectations in service, cleanliness and equipment knowledge and repair.

  • Conducts employee disciplinary action through documentation in the employee’s performance evaluation and terminations in accordance with company policy with guidance from supervisor and/or Human Resources. Promotes company-wide open-door policy with a positive attitude toward the company and its policies.

  • Maximizes profits and sales by: 

    • Implementing all My Eco Wash programs maintaining proper procedure levels.

    • Controlling Express Wash shortage and other operating expenses.

  • Supervises, manages, recruits, selects, trains, evaluates, schedules and fills any work shift voids resulting from the absence of scheduled employees.

  • Encourages/builds “Team” perspective by participating in My Eco Wash functions, promotions of company-wide-open-door policy and positive attitude towards the company and its policies.

  • Communicated details of all programs to My Eco Wash employees and customers.

  • Places chemical and part orders.

  • Promotes effective vendor relationships.

  • Makes bank deposits, completes required paperwork, reviews and analyzes reports, and transmits daily reports and other pertinent data to the Corporate Office.

  • Conduct inspections of equipment; daily and evening walk through of equipment.

  • Decrease difficulties with equipment.

  • Increase the number of tasks every team member can perform.

  • Maintain daily/weekly/monthly equipment inspection logs.

  • Maintains My Eco Wash surveillance system to include reporting of improper angle and operation of all monitors, operation of recording unit.

  • Executes robbery prevention procedures according to company policy.

  • Promotes a safe working environment for employees and customers. 

  • Wearing non-slip shoes, and safety glasses.

  • Performs additional duties that may be required by supervisor or the company as a result of the location, nature, size of My Eco Wash, or other circumstances.

Organizational Requirements

  • Review all equipment updates and follow the manufacturer’s maintenance schedule.

  • Continue to improve knowledge of equipment and wash systems.

  • Ensure that all daily paperwork is completed accurately and submitted on time.

  • Attend and excel at ALL training programs, internal and external, required by the company.

  • Cross-Train at least one employee on one new task every week until every employee can perform each function at the wash.

Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

  • Must be able to perform all tasks and functions of a Sales Associate, Team Leader and/or Assistant Manager

  • Must be able to start work at 6/7 am and have the ability to work varied hours/days to oversee My Eco Wash operations.

  • Must be able to work a minimum of five and a half days per week and be on call in case of any unforeseen circumstances/emergencies.

  • Must possess basic reading and comprehension, writing as well as math skills, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

  • Must be able to operate a personal computer.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and transportation.

Supervision Of Personnel: 

  • Assistant Managers.

  • Express Crew Members.

 Physical/Mental/Environmental Requirements: 

  • Physical Demand Activities: Walking/Standing – 95% Sitting – 5%.

  • Lifting: Be able to lift 10 lbs. 

  • Vision: Working on computer screen, ability to find equipment, and foresee/pinpoint problems.

  • Mental Demands: Problem solving, analyze info, interpret info, and meet deadlines.

  • Environment: Working outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions.
